PET ADVICE

I just wanted to warn pet owners....

Gorilla Glue is a wonderful product, but please be careful around pets.  My son's dog ate the glue while he was away. The glue formed a ball in his stomach and the dog had to have emergency surgery.  He is okay now $2400 later.

So please, keep product out of reach of pets and children.

We at Gorilla Glue are saddened to hear your story and sincerely hope your dog is recovering well.

Polyurethane glue relies on moisture to foam and cure. If ingested, the glue can expand and cure in the stomach. This reaction can occur with any brand of polyurethane glue. It is not unique to Gorilla Glue.

Gorilla Glue cares about its customers and strives to provide clear instructions for proper use and storage of our products as well as warning labels stating the adverse health effects that can occur from skin contact or ingestion by humans and animals.

Our most current label includes the following information: ‘Keep out of reach of children and animals. Harmful or fatal if swallowed’…‘May cause gastro-intestinal blockage if swallowed. For medical emergencies only, call 800-420-7186’.

Thank you for taking the time to remind everyone to store all household products safely out of the reach of children and pets.

Re: PET ADVICE

Thank you for your response...it is not negative towards you.  Just a little reminder to others regarding dangers of leaving it out.

I did see the warning in this ad.  People just choose not to read it and learn the hard way.

Puppy is doing fine.

Thanks again!
