Glue Removal

My cousin accidentally got GG on my D&G sunglasses. Is there anything I can do to remove it at least a little bit?

Re: Glue Removal

J Square-
The best thing to do to remove dried Gorilla Glue from your sunglasses is to scrape or pick it off. If the sunglasses are a plastic material, the foam from Gorilla Glue should be easy to scrape off, being careful not to scrape the plastic, of course.

Good luck-Lauren

Similarly, one of my grandkids spilled super gorilla glue on an oak buffet and a new hardwood floor.  Anyone know how to get it off?

Re: Glue Removal

To remove Gorilla Super Glue, use a towel dampened with acetone or isopropyl alcohol and wipe the surface, allowing the cloth remain on the surface for about 30 seconds after wiping.  Then, using moderate pressure, rub the surface.  The adhesive should begin to soften, but many applications may be necessary.

Keep in mind that acetone and isopropyl alcohol may mar some surface materials, so apply to a small, unseen area first.

Removing Gorilla Glue is a little different - the only way to remove Gorilla Glue is by sanding, scraping or scratching it off.  There are no solvents for Gorilla Glue.
