Removing Gorilla Glue from mirror back

I have a problem that I am hoping someone can help me solve.  I have been using Gorilla Glue for awhile now and love it, my dad has a camper and I gave it to him to use there and he loves it also, well, his drivers side mirror fell off while there the other day and he decided to use gorilla glue to re-attach it, it is holding great, but he didn't secure it and it shifted downard and now we can't see anything but the ground.  Is there anyway to remove it to re-attach mirror properly, it is dangerous driving that way.  Thanks in advance.

Re: Removing Gorilla Glue from mirror back

Hi Solir,

When your surfaces are not clamped together tightly, the foaming action of Gorilla Glue may push your surfaces apart and out of alignment.  Once cured, there is no solvent.  I would suggest taking a razor sharp knife and carefully slice between your two surfaces, sand off the cured glue, and start over.

I hope this helps!

Mary Ellen
