We'd already been using our soft-side pool for 4 years when the pump began rattling. When we took it apart, I was sure it was time for a new pool. The 4" plastic fan that runs the pump had dry-rotted and was in about 100 tiny pieces! My husband spent hours painstakingly glueing the fan back together with Gorilla Glue, confident that it would hold. I knew Gorilla Glue was amazing stuff, but doubted it would hold up. The fan rotates at a very high speed, and runs almost constantly, with the chlorinated water racing through it and all.....there was no way this would work! Boy was I wrong! That was 3 summers ago, and we're still swimming!!! I'll never doubt the power of Gorilla Glue again!
